Dick Irvin Founder
In August of 1951, Dick Irvin borrowed $3,000 from his father, Joe, to buy a one-and-a-half-ton International Truck and the company Dick Irvin Inc. was born.

Dwayne Irvin President/Owner
Dwayne brings over 58 years of experience in the transportation industry. Dwayne oversees fleet maintenance and repair as well as crane operations, transload dock supervision, and load transfer for DII.
Mike Irvin Owner/Secretary & Treasurer
Mike has 46 years of experience in the transportation industry. Mike oversees operations, dispatch, rate quoting, contracts, customer relations, equipment purchases, finances, and numerous other operational duties.
Dispatch Team (L-R) Dave Olson, Devern Hull, Mick Grant, Sam Frydenlund
DII's dispatch team has an average experience level of 20 years in the transportation and logistics industry. They are a team that specializes in planning and logistics for the fleet and have a continuous improvement mindset. They also possess an extensive knowledge of DOT and customs requirements.
Devern Hull (Head Dispatch) Oversees dispatch team as well as rail to truck transfers.
Dave Olson (Dispatch) In-house border crossing and customs expert.
Mick Grant (Dispatch) Planner and scheduler for customer offload.
Sam Frydenlund (Dispatch) Technical Services, engineering and logistics.
Experienced Office Staff
Dick Irvin Inc. has experienced and professional personnel employed in our accounting, permitting, and billing department. The majority of the staff has tenure with the company 15+ years.
Mechanics & Maintenance Team
DII has an outstanding team of mechanics that keep the fleet running. These specialists have many years of mechanic experience and take great pride in their maintenance and safety programs.
