In August of 1951, Dick Irvin borrowed $3,000 from his father, Joe, to buy a one-and-a-half-ton International Truck and the company Dick Irvin Inc. was born.

Larry is a Montana Tech graduate with a degree in Occupational Safety and Health and has over 25 years in the transportation business. Larry oversees all employee safety training and compliance with continually changing safety regulations from a multitude of regulatory agencies.
DII's dispatch team has an average experience level of 20 years in the transportation and logistics industry. They are a team that specializes in planning and logistics for the fleet and have a continuous improvement mindset. They also possess an extensive knowledge of DOT and customs requirements.
Devern Hull (Head Dispatch) Oversees dispatch team as well as rail to truck transfers.
Dave Olson (Dispatch) In-house border crossing and customs expert.
Mick Grant (Dispatch) Planner and scheduler for customer offload.
Sam Frydenlund (Dispatch) Technical Services, engineering and logistics.
